Our History

With the flourishing development of regenerative medicine and precision medicine, extracellular vesicles, as an emerging biotechnology field, have demonstrated remarkable potential and unlimited application possibilities. Taiwan possesses deep foundations and advantages in the biomedical technology field. However, to stand out in global competition, the key lies in establishing comprehensive industry-government-academia-research collaboration mechanisms, establishing regulatory standards, enhancing technical capabilities and clinical application quality, and creating a globally trusted Taiwan brand.

For this purpose, we established the Taiwan Extracellular Vesicle Medical Promotion Association, aiming to unite the forces of industry, academia, and medical communities to jointly promote the development of extracellular vesicle medicine. Our mission is threefold: first, to promote breakthroughs in scientific research and standardization of clinical applications; second, to create platforms for domestic and international exchange and cooperation; finally, to establish international technical standards and ethical guidelines to enhance international competitiveness. We believe that through the association's efforts, we can not only improve the quality of Taiwan's extracellular vesicle medicine, but also enable Taiwan to occupy a pivotal position in this emerging field.

Looking to the future, we hope the association will become a professional organization centered on innovation, quality, and trust, promoting technology translation, accelerating clinical applications, and continuously driving international-level development opportunities. I sincerely invite colleagues from all sectors to work together to create unlimited possibilities for the future of Taiwan's extracellular vesicle medicine and achieve new paradigms in international healthcare.
